Larrie Thesenvitz's Obituary
Larrie Thesenvitz, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away October 16, 2018 at the age of 71. He was born November 30, 1946 to Max E. Thesenvitz and Edna (Vogt) Thesenvitz in Grand Island, Nebraska. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Larrie worked building or refurbishing the wood in his home. He was a qualified wood worker, he did beautiful work and had great patience when working. Larrie worked for the Tulsa Housing Authority as a Supervisor for over 10 years. He enjoyed traveling, square dancing, skeet shooting, pheasant hunting and sports but most of all he loved spending time with his family.He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Edna Thesenvitz.Survivors include his loving wife, Janice Thesenvitz; sons, Michael Thesenvitz and wife, Cindy and Steven Thesenvitz and wife, Terri; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.Viewing will be held Sunday, October 21st from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Daniel Landis officiating.Pallbearers will be Richard Hintze, Brad Hanson, Dan Ulberg, Keith Armstrong, David Clutter and Larry Wasson.Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Thesenvitz, Steven Thesenvitz, Chase Thesenvitz, Grayson Wise, Jeff Thurman and Brad Thurman.Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army and American Legion Post 56.
