Larry Pat Hale's Obituary
Larry Pat Hale 80, passed away July 26, 2020 at his home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Larry was born October 5, 1939 in Gravelly, Arkansas to Deaun and Wilma Hale.
Larry loved to go hunting and fishing, along with growing his garden. He loved driving/working on the truck and also he loved being a bus driver for Broken Arrow Public Schools. Larry also enjoyed telling story's, especially about fly fishing with his dad on the Fourche LaFave River. and being around family at cookouts. He loved spending time with his Grandpa Jake farming, raising cattle and working the land on his Arkanas farm. Some of Larry's best times were spent with his dad (Deaun) bird hunting. He moved from Gravelly, AR to Tulsa so that his dad (Deaun) could work at McDonnell Douglas. Larry finished high school at Central H.S. in Tulsa, where he met Mandy. They married in 1961 and soon after that he was drafted to the Air Force. When he got out of the Air Force, he started his truck driving career. Around 1984, he purchased his own truck and became an owner/operator, which he did until his retirement in 2005. After retiring, he enjoyed fly fishing and hunting with his son, Larry. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Larry was preceded in death by his first wife, Mandy Hale; his parents and both grandparents, and his brother, Johnny Hale.
Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Hale of BA; one son, Larry Deaun Hale and his wife, Mindy of Porter; step-daughter, Rachell Sands and her husband, Ethan of Chewey, OK; one step-son, Christopher Julian and his wife, Lila of Blackwell; one granddaughter, Aleah Hale of Porter, OK; two step-granddaughters, Kyrstin Baade and her husband, Terrance of Marietta, OH and Kaiti Sue Intyre of Marietta, OH; along with many other dearly loved family and friends.
Visitation will be 4-6 pm, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Floral Haven Chapel.
