K. Larry JonesLarry was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from East Central High School in 1976 where he was on the swim team & won numerous awards with an outstanding record of excellence! Larry was a Boy Scout, achieving their highest honor of Eagle Scout. He was a Deacon for 15 years at Garnett Road Baptist Church and a devoted servant of our Lord. One of his passions was being head cook at Falls Creek Church Camp which he did for 20 years. He was known by many and loved by all.Larry is survived by his wife, Teresa Long Jones; his mother, Helen Joan Jones; daughters, Shanda Minson & husband, James of Owasso and Kassie Jones of Tulsa; Grandchildren Preston and Samantha Minson; brothers, Kent Lewis Jones & wife, Holly of Broken Arrow, Marshall Scott Jones of Gravette, Arkansas, Mike Haynes & wife, Jenni of Broken Arrow; brothers in law, Robert Atchison & Jodi of Whittington, Illinois, Ronald Kevin Atchison of Benton, Illinois, Michael Eugene Long of Tulsa, and Larry Dean Long of Hominy; Sister in law, Janice Hicks of Benton, Illinois and Brenda McGlasson of Benton, Illinois as well as many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.Larry was preceded in death by father, Kenneth LeRoy Jones and his sister, Karen Lynn Jones.Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Garnett Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 pm-8 pm on Monday July 13th at the Floral Haven Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
