Larry Liggans' Obituary
Liggans, Larry Ray, 74, passed Monday, March 8th, 2021 at the Claremore Veterans Center in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born October 23, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Arthur and Juanita Liggans. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Dale Liggans. He is survived by his daughter Traci Frederick of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and his grandson, Jordan Frederick of Tulsa, Ok; two sisters, Norma Jo Washburn of Jenks, OK; Janice Vaughan of Tulsa, OK; and his brother, Terry Liggans, of Tulsa, Ok; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Larry joined the United States Army at the age of 18. He was stationed in Vietnam during the war where his main duty was working as a combat engineer. After serving his country, Larry worked for decades doing floor coverings as owner of Liggans Floor Coverings and in association with C & C Carpet & Tile here in Tulsa. He later retired to Grove, Oklahoma on Grand Lake. His favorite things to do were golf and driving his golf cart around the lake.
Viewing will be held Sunday, March 14th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 15th at 3:00pm both at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow. Live streaming of the service will begin at 2:45pm for those friends and family that are unable to attend the service.
