Larry Gene Morris' Obituary
Larry Gene Morris, 84 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of Manassas, Virginia, passed from this life on Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Larry was born December 11, 1937, in El Reno, Oklahoma to his parents, Laird and Stella (Barnhart) Morris.
Larry graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas. Then he furthered his education at Central State of Oklahoma in Edmond with an accounting degree.
Larry was passionate about his career as a certified public accountant with oil companies, financial companies and non-profit organizations all over the world. Besides his family Larry was passionate about golfing, as well.
Larry will be dearly missed by his daughter, Melissa Wilson; his grandchildren, Taylor Bennett Wilson and his wife Juvelyn, Austin Wilson and Haley Wilson; his brother, Skip Morris and his wife Janet; his sister, Cindy Ray Hutson and her husband Jack; his cousin Steve Perryman and his wife Jean Ann; his grand Pups, Maddie and Stormi; and the mother of his daughter, Kay Johnson.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Laird and Stella Morris; his daughter, Melanie Leigh Morris; and his wife, Joyce Morris.
Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Monday, June 27, 2022, at the Floral Haven Visitation Suites, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
The committal service will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the El Reno Cemetery, in El Reno, Oklahoma.
