Laura Michelle Grossner's Obituary
Laura Michelle Grossner, 22, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away on August 8, 2024. Born on June 26, 2002, in Katy, Texas, Laura was the beloved daughter of Bryan Gregory Grossner and Kathryn Ann Johnson Grossner.
Laura worked at Starbucks and had a deep passion for reading and literature. She adored animals and always dreamed of working at a zoo, which led her to pursue a second major in zoology. Laura loved hiking in the mountains, spending time with friends, and had a profound love for science. She double majored in both biology and zoology and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree.
Known for her kindness, gentleness, and sense of humor, Laura was a jokester who loved to sit on the patio with her best friend. She never turned down a spontaneous adventure and was always ready for a last-minute trip with friends. Laura was never afraid to be herself and danced alone with no shame.
Laura is survived by her parents, Bryan and Kathryn Grossner of Cypress, Texas; her brother, Matthew Grossner of Cypress, Texas; her paternal grandmother, Marilyn Sue Dozier of Jacksonville, Illinois; her paternal grandfather, Bud Grossner and his wife Natalie of Sacramento, California; her maternal grandfather, Richard Johnson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her uncles, Jeffery Johnson and wife Charity of Brunswick, Georgia, and Steven Johnson and wife Lori of Sammamish, Washington; her aunt, Angie Costello and husband Ed of Los Angeles, California; her cousins, Alex, Drew, Elliott, and Peyton Johnson, Luke, Lexi, and Landon Johnson, and Mitchell and Jenna Costello; and her two best friends, Kristen Sneed and Akiera Smith.
