Lawrence Niemiec's Obituary
Lawrence (Larry) Frank Niemiec, 75, was born on July 9, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away on November 29th, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma due to complications after a fall. Larry was a very loyal and hardworking man, working many years for the Railroad in Illinois before moving to Oklahoma with his family in 1983. For the past 28 years, he has worked for the City of Sand Springs Water Department. He loved cars, collectibles, guns and watching movies. He also liked to travel and take road trips.He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcella and Frank Niemiec, his wife, Patricia Niemiec and his son, Rick Niemiec.He is survived by his daughter, Laura Thrash and husband Scot Thrash, grandchildren, Cannon Thrash and Kennedy Thrash of Franklin, TN; daughter in law, Ronda Niemiec and grandchildren, Aubrey Niemiec, Ariel Niemiec, Autumn Niemiec and Andrew Niemiec of Broken Arrow. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Larry loved God and we take comfort in knowing he is with our heavenly father and reunited with his wife and son.A Memorial Service for him will be held on Tuesday, December 4th at 12:30 at Floral Haven.
