Lenard Harold Scroggins' Obituary
Lenard Harrold Scroggins, a resident of Broken Arrow, came to Tulsa as a young child with his Mother and Father, the late Rev. Floyd Scroggins and Virgie Scroggins.He was a Sergeant in the Army and served in Korea in the Korean Conflict. He went to Barber College and worked as a Barber for several years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved boating and water skiing with his family. While living in California he worked with the Senior Pastor at the South Whittier Church Of The Nazarene for seven years. He was a construction worker and home builder and built many homes. The last beautiful homes were in Claremore, OK. He did guttering for Sutherlands Lumber Company for several years before retiring.Survivors include his wife Faye Smith Scroggins; sister Clella Davis; nieces Debbie Brown Regina Davis, and Christen, husband and two sons. Lynn Scroggins Walker, daughter, Danny Steven Scroggins and Stacy Dane Scroggins, sons, and Matthew L. Scroggins and Andrew S. Scroggins, grandsons. Jacob M. Scroggins, great grandson and Wesley Malone, step great grandson. Allison M. Scroggins and Amber Lynn Walker, Donna Scroggins, and Amy Scroggins, granddaughters. Scott Walker, son in law and Dusty Scroggins, Lori Scroggins daughters in law.Honorary family members include Diane and Jeff Fullerton, Gregg Lilly. Don and Joyce Smith, EC Smith, and Eugene D. Smith and family. Visitation will be held Monday, April 8th from 5 pm to 8 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Regency Park Church of the Nazarene in Tulsa.
