Lenora Grogan's Obituary
Lenora Lurene Grogan, 66, passed away peacefully at her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, January 14th at 1:21 AM. Born on June 27th, 1959, she was the beloved daughter of John H. Miller and Louella Blancett, both of whom preceded her in death.
Lenora grew up with a spirited love for life. In her youth, she played softball and volleyball and shared her beautiful voice in her high school choir. These early passions reflected the energy, joy, and warmth she carried throughout her life.
On February 17th, 1978, she married the love of her life, Edward Dale Grogan, in Eunice, New Mexico. Together they built a life rooted in faith, family, and unwavering devotion.
A natural entrepreneur, Lenora owned and operated three businesses over the years—Home Interior, Home and Garden Party, and Lighthouse Christian Book Store. Each venture reflected her creativity, her love for people, and her desire to bring beauty and encouragement into the lives of others.
Lenora had a zest for adventure. She loved to travel and explore new restaurants, always eager to experience something new. Fall was her favorite season, not just for the changing leaves but for the excitement of OU Sooners football. She also enjoyed relaxing with her favorite game shows, The Price Is Right and Wheel of Fortune, which brought her daily joy.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Ed Grogan of Broken Arrow, OK, and her son, Shannon Grogan of Broken Arrow, OK. She is also survived by her siblings: Jacky Blancett of Hermitage, MO, WL Johnson of McKinney, TX, Brenda Hurst of North Mount Vernon, IN, and Linda Goforth of Gallup, NM. Lenora leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins who cherished her deeply.
Lenora will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her faith, and the way she made every person feel valued. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched.
