Leo Verne Hill's Obituary
Leo Verne Hill 85, passed away on November 20, 2017. Verne was born April 30, 1932 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Owen and Francis Hill. Verne graduated from El Dorado High School in El Dorado, KS. He received an Associate Degree in Business at El Dorado Junior College, and attended the U.S Air Force School of Language at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. Verne served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force Security Service as a Russian Language Translator, and attended Wichita State University. Verne retired from Fibercast Company in Sand Springs, OK as Senior Buyer in 1998. Verne is preceded by his wife Shirley Hill; and two sisters, Joanne and Phyllis, and two brothers, Bob and Joe. He is survived by his two sons, Robert of Tulsa, OK and Ron of Frisco, TX; two daughters, Kathy and Kris of Tulsa, OK; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; Two brothers, Owen of Phoenix, AZ and Richard of Arlington, TX and one sister, Delores of Burlington, KS, and his beloved furry friend, Sugar Baby. Numerous other relatives and close friends survive Verne. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 12:30PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Services have been entrusted to Floral Haven Funeral Home, Floral Shop, Crematory and Memorial Gardens, 6500 S 129th E Ave; Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012.
