Leola "Lee" Jean Henderson, 82 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, May 22, 2020 in a Tulsa hospital with family by her side. She was born June 3, 1937 in San Jose California to her parents, Donald McCarthy and Thel Read Obituary
I’ve known Lee for 33 years. We met at Telex, she was my supervisor. She was kind and tough at the same time. We shared the Christmas in July and Christmas parties for several years. Such fun, was so glad she invited me to them. She was kind and was always finding something pretty for me to have. I like strawberries and I have the most beautiful pin she made with beads. I will treasure it forever. I will miss her. Pat Ross
Lee, Liz and I would go out to eat after work on Saturday. We had great talks then we would go shopping. Lee was always looking to buy something for someone that she thought was in need or just needed to be encouraged. You had to watch what you said you liked or you would end up with it. We were looking for a chandelier for her dining room and I said I liked a Tiffany Lamp but didn't consider buying it. She found her chandelier and bought the Tiffany Lamp. I told her I was glad she bought the Tiffany Lamp and she handed it to me and said this is for you. It shocked me. I told her I would pay her for it but she wouldn't have it. Well, I learned careful to be careful about what I said around Lee. She was a caring, considerate and generous friend. I have lots of good memories with Lee. I miss her a lot.
I worked with Ms. Lee at Metris/HSBC. She was such a wonderful woman full of humor, tough love, and compassion. She will be missed dearly. See you again one day my friend. Love, Tamsye Axsom

I worked with Lee and she was such a great friend and coworker at Metris/HSBC. After it closed I would often see her at the nail salon. We would pick up right where we left off. She will be missed by so many. RIP friend.
