Leonard Albert Harrold's Obituary
On April 7th, 2011 Leaonard A. Harrold age 66, of Broken Arrow, OK went to live with his Lord and Savior in Heaven. He passed from this world at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Born November 19, 1944 in Greensburg, PA, Lenny as he was known to his many friends, was a retired Army 1st Sgt. Master Mechanic, former restaurant owner and for the past several years has been Equipment Manager at Indian Springs Country Club in Broken Arrow. He was a hard worker who took pride in his work and every aspect of life. If he was going to do anything it just seemed natural for him to go all out and learn everything he could learn about it and then give 110% which was a valuable trait and he instilled in his children and grandchildren. He was all about his family and friends but without a doubt his grandchildren and great granddaughter were the true joy of his life. His theory was simple “Grandpa is the name and spoiling is the game.” His favorite pastimes were cooking for family and friends and spending time with his family, He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Linda Harrold of the home; daughters, Lynnie Lee of Tulsa, OK and Lisa Lovelace of Elmo, KS; two son-in-laws, Jim Lee and Tom Lovelace; grandchildren, Robert and Elizabeth Noel of Tulsa, Matthew Noel, Ariel and Mia Rosalez of the home, and Tristen and Tabitha Lee of Clay Center, KS, one great grand daughter, Annabelle Kristen Noel of Tulsa, OK; two brothers, John and Clifford Harrold of PA, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W.E. Harrold and Elsie Mae (Bish) Harrold, one sister and seven brothers. He will be greatly missed.
