Leroy Otto Coldewey's Obituary
Leroy Otto Coldewey, born on October 25, 1926, in Yoakum, TX, to Otto William and Erna Flora (Harens) Coldewey, passed away on January 25, 2024, in Tulsa, OK. An upbeat and happy gentleman with a contagious smile, Leroy dedicated his life to caring for others with wonderful ethics, treating people the way he wanted to be treated. His love for travel took him to almost every state, excluding New Jersey, and he cherished experiences like Niagara Falls, Hawaii, and Washington DC during Cherry Blossom season.
Leroy was an exceptional husband, friend, and daddy. He is survived by his brother-in-law RW and Evelyn Callan, niece and nephew Betty and John Draper, two great nieces and a nephew, and a great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his wife Billie Jean Coldewey, son Bill Coldewey, parents, and siblings.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 2nd, and the funeral will take place at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 3rd, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
