Leslie Anne Armour's Obituary
Leslie Anne Armour, deeply loved by family and friends, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday July 29, 2007. She was born in Rome, New York, on February 25, 1986. Leslie graduated from Jenks High School and was currently a Senior at the University of Oklahoma. Leslie’s 21 years were an expression of love, strength, courage and inspiration. Born with cystic fibrosis, Leslie fought the disease every day of her life, all the while refusing to let it define her or limit her aspirations. Leslie’s petite body was always overshadowed by her enormous personality, which could instantly light up a room. Her signature smile and quick wit left an indelible impression on all who were blessed to have known her.Survived By: Leslie’s Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday Aug 01, 2007 at Asbury United Methodist Church. These contributions funded research that provided Leslie with better treatments in her fight with CF and will some day find a cure for others that fight this disease. More important than the dollars were the longstanding prayers and genuine concern shown by so many in support of Leslie and her family.
