Lester Lee Belt Jr.'s Obituary
Lester Lee Belt, Jr., 82 of Oologah, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, December 1, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on December 15, 1940, to his parents, Lester Lee Belt, Sr. and Genelle Belt. On April 1, 1966, he took the hand of his sweetheart, Virginia Ann Blake and they were married. Over the next 57 years they built a family and shared in many, many great memories together.
Lester is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Belt of the home; two children, Angela Johnson and husband Rick of Branson, Missouri and Sean Belt and wife Leslie of Owasso, Oklahoma; one sister, Lesta Bartlett of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Ashlyn Wilson, Bailey Moore, and Colbi Belt; two great-grandchildren, Jayden Wilson and Hayden Wilson; and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, Patty Cagle, Virgil Belt and Mike Belt.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Military honors. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
