Lester Nelson's Obituary
Lester Samuel Nelson, Jr., 68, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away November 3, 2019.He was born November 19, 1950 in Cambridge, Ohio to Lester and Joan Nelson.Lester was a long time Associated Press photographer and later owned a photography studio in Coshoction, Ohio. In 2003, he had a life changing event that lead him to the wonderful man he became and was an inspiration to many. He loved the outdoors, traveling and most of all talking to people. He always made others smile and laugh. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.Lester was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Andrea Nelson. Lester is survived by his wife, Ada Nelson; two daughters Amy Wright and husband Chad of Manlius, NY and Alicia Conethan of Coshocton, OH; one son Adam Nelson and wife Stephanie Nelson of Coshoction, OH; twelve grandchildren Morgan, Maddy, Megan and Mason Wright of Manlius, NY, Drequan Tucker, Jazmine Fuller, Tryen Walker, Dezmond and Jiasia Conethan , Kaylynn, Kylie and Anistyn Nelson all of Coshoction, OH; three step-sons David Walker, Chance Walker of Tulsa, OK, Glendon Dixon of Wichita, Kansas; one step-daughter Danielle Walker; two step-grandchildern Cannon and Camdyn Walker of Tulsa, OK; two brothers and six sisters all of Ohio; Rod Nelson and wife Becky, Kevin Shull and wife Kelly, Tanya Elliott and husband Leroy, Belinda Larrick and husband Dale, Tina McCullough and husband Benny, Trudi LeCocq and husband Mike, Teresa Regan and husband Adam, Tammy Bender and husband Ed; numerous nieces and nephewsFuneral service to held at Floral Haven Funeral Home at 6500 South 129th East Avenue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.Visitation Sunday, November 10, 2pm till 7pmFuneral service Monday, November 11, 12:30 pmGraveside service and burial will be held on Tuesday, November 12 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery at 1423 Cemetery Road, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma
