Became neighbors of Charlie & Lillian in 1994. Always enjoyed talking with them as they were good ambassadors of FBCBA. We were always quietly giggling as we watched them on their scheduled walks... as Charlie was always 25 yards ahead of Lillian in the home stretch to the house! Great Christian neighbors.

When I think of Aunt Lillian I remember two unforgettable moments in my life.
First: At age seven I was thrilled when she asked me to be the candle lighter in her wedding. I remember standing on tip toes and stretching my arms to light the tallest and last candle on the candelabra. My Uncle Marvin said he held his breath thinking it was not going to happen and he was about ready to assist me.
Second: My very first sleepover as a kid was when Aunt Lillian asked me to go home with her and Uncle Charles for a few days in Elk City. During my stay they took me to the local swimming pool. I decided to jump off the diving board...something I had not done before. I really didn't know how to swim well but thought I could at least make it to the side after the jump. Apparently not...as Uncle Charles rescued me from drowning.
