Linda Lee Aycock's Obituary
Linda Lee Aycock passed from this life on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in a Tulsa hospital with family by her side. She was born October 10, 1960, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Marvin Lee and Marjorie Laverne (Turner) Trammell.
Linda loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, whether at sporting events or simply playing outdoors. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a longtime member of Bethany Church. She spent many years co-teaching the two- and three-year-old’s Sunday School class; instilling in those young minds that Jesus loved them and wanted to be their very best friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She dedicated her professional life to caring for people too, with 42 years as a registered nurse. Her most recent nursing role has been as the Health Services Coordinator for Broken Arrow Public Schools. Prior to that, she worked in home healthcare management, as well as spending two decades of her career caring for infants in the newborn intensive care unit of St. Francis Hospital (called EOPC at that time). In all her nursing roles she was a strong advocate for the best course of action for her patients.
Linda is survived by her son, Jason Aycock and wife MariAnn; daughter, Amanda Doty and husband Corey; four grandchildren, Rusty Aycock, Bradley Aycock, Bentley Doty, and Wyatt Doty; two sisters, Brenda Trammell and Heather Ellis; nephew, Noah Ellis; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26th at Floral Haven Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 27th at Bethany Church, Broken Arrow. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
