Linda Cartwright's Obituary
Linda Sue Cartwright, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 29, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on May 18, 1943, to Cleo Taylor and Sue (Chaudoin) Taylor. Linda married the love of her life, Neal Cartwright, on December 1, 1961, and they shared a beautiful life together.
Linda was a vibrant soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for cooking, boating, sailing, and embarking on mini sailing trips. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel far and wide, exploring new places and making cherished memories along the way. Linda also had a love for fishing and enjoyed spending time in their motorhome with her family.
Known for her feisty personality and unwavering love for her family, Linda touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was a dedicated member of Parkview Baptist Church, where her faith and sense of community were nurtured.
Linda Sue Cartwright will be deeply missed by her loving family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her kindness, warmth, and zest for life.
Linda is survived by her son Greg Cartwright, son Ron Cartwright and wife Kathy, brother Larry Taylor and wife Renee, grandchild Mikel Cartwright, great-grandchildren Brennan Cartwright and Keira Cartwright.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
May she rest in peace, sailing on tranquil waters, forever cherished and remembered with love.
Visitation to be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Garden of Serenity
