Linda Ann Gillespie's Obituary
Linda Ann Gillespie was born September 20, 1944 to Paul L. and Wilma (Brownlee) Kasper in Independence, KS.
Linda attended elementary school in Neodesha, KS and Thayer, KS, Jr. High and High School in Great Bend, KS graduating from Great Bend, KS and Great Bend School of Business.
Linda was one of the first women employed at the Farmland Co-op/Refinery in Coffeyville, KS in 1977. She worked her way up through many positions, including, operator at the MEK unit, Gate Security Manager, retiring as Manager of Security and Contract Administration. Linda retired from Farmland Co-op/Refinery in 2003.
Linda was married to Dwayne E. Erbe on June 23rd, 1960. The couple was later divorced. She then married D. Leon Gillespie in December 1964 and they were later divorced.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister, grandparents, one great grandchild and her beloved pets, Brandy, Abby, Sadie.
Linda is survived by her 3 children, son Brian D. Erbe of Virginia Beach, VA, son Todd L. Gillespie & wife Elaine of Coweta, OK, daughter Paula & husband Darrell Stritzke of Broken Arrow, OK, 11 grandchildren, Justin Erbe & wife Tara of Virginia Beach, VA, Ashley Earles and husband Ricky of Severn, MD, Amanda Mitchell & husband Chris of Malvern, AR, Jacob Erbe & wife Katelyn of Hillsboro, OR, Tyler Coday of Venice, FL, Kaitlynn Gillespie of Cocoa Beach, FL, Dalton Gillespie of Broken Arrow, OK, Trevor Sanders of Tulsa, OK, Dakota Sanders of Catoosa, OK, Derek Stritzke of Broken Arrow, OK, Morgan Stritzke of Broken Arrow, OK and 12 great grandkids. Linda is also survived by her best friend and companion Georgi, her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Services will be held Monday, October 25, 2021, at 10 am at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow. Lunch will be provided at the Floral Haven Family Center after the service.
