I was so sad to find out that Linda passed away. She and I worked together researching Tulsa. I had not heard from her in a long time and tried to get in touch with her. When my email was returned, I googled her name and was sooo sorry to see that she had passed away. She was such a wonderful and SMART person. I hope someone donates her work to the Tulsa Historical Society. God Bless her beautiful soul.

I didn't know Linda personally, but she was always so kind and gracious with her genealogical information. She was brilliant and a lovely person. My prayers are with her family and friends. It is always harder for those of us left behind.
Thank you for the many insights. Peace be with the family and friends...
I never met Linda in person but we became friends first through emails back in the early 1990's through genealogy. I was researching my family in Marion County, Arkansas and she also has roots there. I thought "someone" should put some of the county information out on the internet and eventually persuaded Linda to be that someone! She was the best! She was fantastic at researching, teaching and sharing with others. She just recently persuaded me to take over the site for her and I was counting on her help for a long, long time. I am so sad to lose her...for her knowledge but more for her friendship and laughter and jokes. She was truly a one of kind woman and I wish I had known her all my life! Condolences to her family as she will be greatly missed by all who love her! Jeana (Parker) Houghton
My deepest sympathy to your family. Linda was a wonderful person and a dear friend to me. I met her when she moved to Fort Wayne. I will always treasure our friendship. Be at peace, dear Linda. 💗

My condolences to Linda's family & friends. Although I never met Linda in person, I have known her through her work with The USGenWeb Project. She was one of the projects biggest cheerleaders, researchers will benefit from the work she put into genealogy for many years to come.
