Linda Kay Ivy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 74. She was born on October 10, 1949, and leaves behind a legacy of love and joy.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Tommy Ivy, her loving children Jesse and his wife Jessica Thomas, Cord and Stephanie Ivy, and daughter Candace and her husband Jason Brenner. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Zeke Thomas, Ashton Kelley, Kaylee Ivy, Hudson Brenner, and Fox Brenner, who were the light of her life.
In addition to her immediate family, Linda is survived by her brother Earl Armstrong, her sister Virginia Devore, and her nephew Mike Devore and his wife Gina Devore.
Linda had a passion for life and family. She was always eager to spend time outdoors with her grandchildren, whether it was visiting the park, exploring the pumpkin patch, admiring the Rhema Christmas lights, or marveling at the wonders of the zoo. Her love for gardening was evident in her beautiful plants, and she could often be seen wearing her "I wet my plants" shirt with pride.
Her sense of humor was infectious, and she had a special talent for finding the perfect presents for her grandkids, especially those that brought laughter and joy, even if they made her children cringe at the noise they made. Linda had a fondness for scary movies and ghost stories, sharing spooky tales with her loved ones and creating cherished memories.
Above all, Linda will be remembered for her kind and caring nature. She always prioritized the well-being of others, even when facing her own challenges. Her smile and twinkling eyes brought warmth to everyone around her, and she had a way of making everyone feel loved with her hugs and gentle pats.
