Linda Jane Jones, age 77, departed from this world on Sunday, March 17, 2024, in Pryor, Oklahoma. She entered this world on February 8, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Linda was the cherished daughter of Archie and Clara Easley.
Linda's greatest joy in life was found in her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with all her heart. Her warm presence and infectious sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew her. Linda possessed a resilient spirit, marked by her strong will and occasional bossiness, always for the better. Yet, beneath her strength, she harbored a deeply caring nature, coupled with an unwaveringly positive outlook on life.
One of Linda's enduring qualities was her thoughtfulness. She had a remarkable memory for important dates, ensuring that no birthday or special occasion went unnoticed within her family circle. Her genuine friendliness and welcoming demeanor made her a beloved figure in her community, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. Once you were Linda’s friend, it was forever.
In the wake of her passing, Linda leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she may be gone, her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband John Martin; and sister Ann Shields.
She is survived by her life partner Rado; children Rick Martin and his wife Shelley, Darin Martin and his wife Anika, and Kari Thoroughman and her husband Kevin; grandchildren Whitney, Andrea, Michael and his wife Bridgette, and Lance and his wife Danielle; great grandchildren Connor, Ellie, and Audree; along with numerous other family members and friends who will cherish her memory. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Heart Association in her name.
