Linda H. McCarthy's Obituary
Linda Hope McCarthy was born in Trenton, NJ on May 15, 1953 to Robert & Lorraine Edwards.She was freed from her chair and cancer on March 29, 2018 to be with the Lord and her loved ones that left this world before her.Linda loved spending time with family and her grandchildren were the light of her life. She married Kenneth McCarthy May 05, 1997 after moving to Oklahoma to be closer to her sons, John & Jason Simmons. Linda has been a member of the Heritage United Methodist Church since 2004 and will be missed by the congregation. She touched everyone in her life because of her determination and caring heart.Linda worked for many years as a computer programmer until she was diagnosed with cancer.She did not let a car accident that put her in a wheelchair or the cancer keep her from living a full life.She is survived by her husband Kenneth McCarthy and mother Lorraine Alexander, her brother Robert Edwards, her sister Tammi Strenger, her son John and his wife Jennifer Simmons, her son Jason and his wife Crystal Simmons, Lia & Landon Turner, Marisa McCarthy, along with 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. She will be dearly missed by all family and friends.Family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to any cancer charities.Funeral Service-11:00 a.m., Tuesday-April 3, 2018 at the Heritage United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow, OK.
