Linda Sue McDaniels' Obituary
Linda Sue McDaniels, 59, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away July 2, 2013. She was a faithful Christian and devoted to her family who will greatly miss her. Linda was born May 18, 1954 at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Key West, Florida, to E.B and JoAnn Sartin. She graduated from Nathan Hale High School and received an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science from Oklahoma State University. Linda and Steve McDaniels married May 17, 1975. She was a wonderful mother to son Bradley and daughter Kelsey. She worked for The Williams Companies until she and Steve began raising their family. Thereafter, she worked for Weikel, Johnson, Parris & Rouse, PLLP.Linda enjoyed a full life with family and friends. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and served God in a variety of ways. Linda's faith was the sustaining power in her life and she was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was brave and strong in meeting life's challenges. She was a loving and compassionate friend always putting others before herself. She enjoyed camping and hiking with her family in the mountains.The light of her life was grandson Grayson Taylor Ornelas, born May 30, 2012. He provided her abundant joy and raised her spirits as children do.Linda will be missed by all. Family includes husband Steve McDaniels, son Bradley, daughter Kelsey and her husband Victor Ornelas, and their son Grayson Taylor, all of Tulsa. Parents, E.B. and JoAnn Sartin of Tulsa; brother David Sartin and his wife Carol of Jenks; sister Sandy Smith and her husband Steve of Franklin, Tennessee; nieces Lindsay Eichten and her husband Brandon of Frisco, Texas, Andrea Sartin of Dallas, Texas, and Meredith Smith and her fiancé Justin Hampton, of Franklin, Tennessee; nephews Michael Sartin of Frisco, Texas, Brian Smith of Franklin, Tennessee, and Michael David McDaniels and wife Tiffany of Corpus Christi, Texas. Linda was also blessed with father-in-law C.D McDaniels of Shreveport, Louisiana, and brother-in-law Dr. Michael McDaniels and his wife Claire of Shreveport, Louisiana.Visitation will be held Friday, July 5, 2013, 6 to 8 P.M. at Floral Haven Funeral Home, 6500 South 129th East Avenue. The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013, 11 a.m., Parkview Baptist Church, 5805 S.
