Linda McFarland's Obituary
LINDA MARLENE McFARLAND, 73 of Tulsa, passed away December 20, 2020 in Tulsa with her loving partner Gerald and her daughter Jen holding her hand until her last breath. She was born on Friday June 13th, 1947 in Tulsa to Harold & Juanita Simpson. Linda graduated from Central High School in 1965. She was a highly respected Legal Secretary/Office Manager/Mediation Scheduler and retired in July. Mimi, as she was known to her grandchildren, loved her family with her entire soul and never missed a dance recital, cheer comp, basketball or football game! She was their BIGGEST SUPPORTER. Linda loved reading books, cooking & baking cakes for everyone’s birthdays, make-up shopping with Kylee, music (The Beatles were her favorite), concerts, and watching OU FOOTBALL & OKC THUNDER GAMES, her season tickets to the Tulsa PAC! She is preceded in death by her father Harold Simpson and mother Juanita Ford. Linda is survived by her partner of 37 years, Gerald Buckley; her daughter, Jen Miller-Morrow & husband Trevan, her grandchildren Kagen, Cailey & Kylee and her fur grandson Amos of Owasso and her sister, Carolyn Witt of Beaumont, TX and sister-in-law Joanne Buckley of Bixby.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Floral Haven Chapel.
