Linda Cora Meza's Obituary
Linda Cora Meza, a resident of Bixby, OK, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the age of 87. She was born on December 7, 1931 in Wynona, OK to Gertrudis and Georgia Vasquez. She was one of six children. The family moved to Coffeyville, KS where she attended high school. She married Lupe Meza in 1948 and moved to Independence, KS where she was a full time homemaker. They had one son, Rudy Meza.She loved her flowers and working in the garden. She loved shopping, especially at Walmart. Rudy spent many hours walking the aisles at Walmart with her. She loved going to church and rarely missed a Sunday until she was unable to go due to health issues.She is preceded in death by her husband, Lupe Meza, her mother and father, and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Rudy Meza, two grandchildren, Michelle Keck and Jeff Meza, and two great grandchildren, Grace Keck and Dylan Gregg.Visitation will be held 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Suites, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.The funeral service will be held 12:30 pm, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
