Linda Lou Miner's Obituary
Linda Lou Miner, age 80, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life, Thursday, August 22, 2024 in Tulsa. Linda was born January 12, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Homer and Alma (Pickett) Tate.
In the summer of 1985, Linda met Darrel Miner. They were married on Oct 4, 1987 and were married until Darrel's passing on June 27, 2021. Darrel and Linda were involved at the Garnett Church of Christ across 30 years working with the Singles Ministry They touched the lives of many souls as they facilitated Divorce Recovery and Grief Recovery groups both at Garnett ad the Downtown Bixby Church of Christ, where they were long time members.
Linda had many friends and enjoyed activities with her sorority sisters for many years.
Linda worked 38 years as a bookkeeper for (SEG) Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents: Homer Tate, Alma and Harper Martin; and her husband: Darrel Miner.
Linda has left behind to cherish her memory, her children: Bob Miner (Cindy), Donna Miner, Gary Miner (Cathy), and Jeff Miner (Vanessa); grandchildren: Caleb Miner, Aaron Miner (Miranda), Benjamin Miner, Rachel Miner, Josh Tackett (Casey), Rebekah Miner, Jacob Miner, Robert Miner, Annelise Miner, Emma Miner, and Wesley Miner; foster granddaughter: Mellissia Thomas, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Services will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Bixby Church of Christ.
