Linda was born in 1941 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was one of seven siblings and had four sisters and two brothers. Linda married Gene Oliver in 1958 while Gene was in the US Navy. They were married for 53 years until Gene passed away in 2011. Linda lived in Tulsa for over 60 years.
Linda was a housewife and mother to three sons. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid reader for much of her adult life. Linda and her husband Gene built and sold about a dozen homes in the late 1970s and 1980s. Realtors said that Linda had a talent and flair for design and details of these homes. Linda and Gene were both involved in school and sporting events for their three sons and spent lots of time at football and baseball games. They developed many close friends with other parents through these activities.
Linda has three sons. Michael, David and Keith Oliver. Mike went to be with the Lord in 2020. David lives in Tulsa and Keith lives in Edmond, Oklahoma. Linda has three grandchildren. Brent and Daniel Oliver live in Tulsa. Shannon Oliver is her granddaughter and lives in Phoenix. Linda loved spending time with all of her grandchildren as they were growing up.
