Linda Lou Wilks, age 71, passed away on February 27, 2024. She was born on April 10, 1952 in Crandon, Wisconsin.
Linda's life journey was marked by her deep sense of faith, which she held close to her heart. She had a knack for creating intricate garments for her daughter, her dolls, and barbies. She would assemble porcelain dolls from the first step of pouring the mold to painting their faces to crocheting their garments.
In her quiet moments, Linda found solace in nurturing her garden, enjoying the presence of birds, and reading. Her furry companions brought her joy and comfort, offering her solace in times of need. She also had a talent for cooking and baking, expressing her affection for her family through delicious treats, especially during holidays.
Linda enjoyed dedicating herself to crafting items for others. She made Christmas special for her children, adorning their home with festive decorations and creating cherished memories together.
Her laughter was contagious, and she had a knack for bringing joy to those around her, especially during times spent with loved ones. She loved singing in church with her sisters and she shared a special bond with Clyde Wilks, her best friend and ex-husband, and found solace in the company of friends at the Morada Independent Living Center in her final days.
Linda is preceded in death by her mother Margie, stepfather Clarence, sisters Shelby and Brenda, and her grandparents Myrtle and Martin Thomas.
She is survived by her son Bryan Morgan and daughter Heidi Fessler, along with her siblings Wanda, Dronda, Lorna, Marilyn, Sonja, Lori, Roger, and Larry. Linda's legacy lives on through her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory dear.
