Lindsay Ann Wood's Obituary
Lindsay Ann Wood, born on December 13, 1978, passed away on May 20, 2024. She was a beacon of strength, a woman who fought with all her might until her last breath. Her spirit was as free as the skies she traversed as a flight attendant for South West Airlines, a job she cherished for 17 years. Her colleagues were not just coworkers, but an extended family that she held close to her heart.
Lindsay was the life of every gathering, her vibrant personality lighting up the room. She was a social butterfly, always ready to share a laugh or lend a listening ear. Her love for her family was boundless, but her children, Carter Kim and Jackson Wood, held a special place in her heart.
A lover of all creatures, Lindsay had a soft spot for animals, even those others might consider nuisances. She was a culinary enthusiast, both in her kitchen and at restaurants, especially when the meal was accompanied by a fine wine. Her love for travel was well-suited to her chosen profession, allowing her to explore the world.
Lindsay was known for her stubbornness, fiercely holding onto her beliefs. She leaves behind her parents, Gary and Terry Wood; her partner, Jason Douthitt; her siblings, Andrew and Stefanni Wood, Darren and Ginger Wood; her nephews, Tyler, Ethan, Blake, and Cash; and a host of other family and friends.
Lindsay’s passing leaves a void that can never be filled. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, forever missed and forever loved. As we say our goodbyes, we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman, remembering her not just for how she died, but for how she lived. Rest in peace, Lindsay Ann Wood. You will always be remembered.
