Lisa Marie Patchen's Obituary
Lisa Marie (Drake) Patchen, 30, of Broken Arrow, passed away Christmas Day, December 25, 2010. Lisa was born in Tulsa on September 28, 1980. Lisa grew up in Broken Arrow along with her sister and best friend, Lora Drake currently of Tulsa. Lisa was a 1998 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. She went on to become a very proud graduate of the University of Tulsa in 2005. Lisa met her husband Bill Patchen II in 1997 at RiverLanes Bowling Center where they both worked. Lisa and Bill married in 2001 at the Marland Mansion in Ponca City, OK. They had their first son, Anthony, born in 2001 and their next son, Andrew in 2007. After graduating from Tulsa University, Lisa worked at Tulsa Housing Authority as Coordinator of the AmeriCorps program. Due to her unwavering commitment to the community, Tulsa Housing Authority proclaimed June 5th as 'Lisa Patchen ' Celebrate Volunteerism: Get involved! Day'. In June of 2009, opportunities lead the Patchen Family to Vega, Texas where they currently reside. Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents: Avis and Earnest Hauser of Ponca City, OK; cousins: Donna, Cale and Taylor Callison. She is survived by husband: Bill; sons: Anthony, age 9 and Andrew, age 3; mother: Paula Drake of Broken Arrow; father and stepmother: Rocky and Linda Drake of Vega, TX; sisters: Lora Drake, Madison Drake and April Penilla; brothers: Rusty, Ricky, Nathan and Daniel Davis; niece: Jordan Corbett of Tulsa; grandparents: Paul and Lorene Graff of Broken Arrow. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
