Lizabeth Dake passed away Friday, October 1, 2010 surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of 18 years to Earl Dake; loving mother of Stephanie Dake of Austin, Texas, Lacey Brenton and husband Rawley of Tulsa, OK, and Skye D Read Obituary
It's been eleven years now and I still miss her. Still think about what news we'll catch up on when we have lunch again. She has more grandchildren now that she would have had such fun with. I know she's planning the parties in Heaven and making sure everyone is invited. Til we meet again........
Still missing her. It's been almost three years. I think of her so much and know she would be so proud of her children and grandchildren.
Well, it's been a few weeks since she left, but I'm still thinking of her every day. I find myself mentally taking notes on the happenings in my family's life that I know she will be asking about next time we have lunch. Then I remember…She was a wonderful friend, always more interested in your life than her own. Always giving to others but not wanting anything back in return.May we all never forget everything about her and strive to be the kind of friend she was to us.
Our condolences to Earl and the girls. Frank and I will miss the dinners we had as couples. I will greatly miss the lunches, craft shows and e-mails. Liz was an awesome friend and I was blessed to have her in my life. Her family was always number one with her. May God bless you.

May you feel the loving peace God gives us all, especially in times like this. My prayers and thoughts are with the Dake family & extended family, as well as all of Liz's friends. Liz was known to me as "Cuz" because her adoptive mother's maiden name and mine are the same and it's not a common name. I was quick to tell anyone who would listen. I love Liz. She was quick to laugh and was always so kind to me. I was certain that she cared for me just by her thoughtfulness. She was quick to share the happenings of her family. I thank God for bringing her into my life. What a blessing!!!! I Love you "Cuz"!

Liz was a wonderful person. Kind and loving and I am so glad that I was her friend. I will miss her dearly.It's just hard to believe that she is no longer with us. My prayers go out to Earl and the rest of the family that she loved so much.
There wasnÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢t anything that Liz wouldnÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢t do to help someone; she would literally give the shirt off her back. She was always the one you could count on for a shoulder to lean on or to make you laugh even if she wasnÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢t trying. IÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢m so thankful we were blessed with her friendship and to be a part of her life as well as her family. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss.
