Lloyd McDaniel's Obituary
Lloyd McDaniel Age 85 of Sapulpa, Ok Passed away March 4th, 2017. He was born on January 24th, 1932. Preceded in death by FATHER and MOTHER John & Mary McDaniel his wife of 48 years Margaret Salyer McDaniel and 2 sisters Lois McDaniel, Lula Williams. He is survived by his children, Son: Howard & wife Ilene McDaniel of Jenks, 2 daughters Dana & husband Gary Harp of Roland, Ok. Susan McDaniel of Bristow, Ok. and one brother Earl and his wife Nancy McDaniel of Sapulpa, OK. 9 grandchildren: Tommie Waller, Mary Jackson, Lyndyl Harp, Harmony McDaniel, Melodie Hamilton, Symphony Oxendine, Josh Rutherford, Melissa Garcia, Kelbi DesHazer, 5 step grand children, 27 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. LLoyd was a Army veteran serving in the 15th Armored Infantry Battalion D company when he was discharged in 1955 he went to work for the City of Tulsa as a Sanitation engineer where he retired some 30 years later. LLoyd had a great since of humor, He loved to play jokes on his family like having his son hold 2 wires on a old time crank telephone and then cranked it to watch him dance. He enjoyed working on cars and just about anything to fix them, He loved building things. LLoyd was a great husband, father, brother and grandfather. He will be messed by all. He is gone but not forgotten.Visitation is scheduled on Monday, March 6, from 5 pm – 8 pm. Services will be held at Floral Haven Chapel on Tuesday, March 7, at 3 pm.
