Logan Beaston's Obituary
Logan Todd Beaston, 29 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 9, 1989 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to his parents, Gary Don Beaston and Debra Ruth Smock Downing.Logan attended Jenks schools graduating in 2008. He had a passion for animals. Logan was in Jenks FFA and participated in a summer FFA program in Utah. Logan showed pigs and won a blue ribbon for his hard work. He also qualified for Horse showmanship in the Utah State Fair.After graduating Logan became a fitness trainer. He loved training and working out daily for hours. Training came to an end after a very serious motorcycle accident. Even after his accident, motorcycles were still one of his greatest passions, along with dirt bikes and his monster truck. Logan would drive around town looking down on other cars, and rescuing people in bad weather pulling them out of ditches.Logan had an amazing gift of talents and skills, most working with his hands. There was never a job too difficult or too big. Logan could do everything, from working on motorcycles,vehicles, construction, demolition and remodeling. Another passion Logan discovered was welding, so much so he recently became a certified welder. Once he started a project he was a perfectionist, and would work until completed, often late into the night.Logan cherished the vacations with his friend Connor and family which included skiing and cruises. Both Connor and Logan were recently planning there next cruise trip together.One of Logan’s less dangerous passions was playing the guitar, he took it everywhere and played on breaks, and down time for anyone that wanted to listen or not, regardless, you were going to hear his songs.Logan is survived by his mother, Debra Downing and significant other, Jerry Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his father, Gary Beaston and wife Denise of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; one brother, Luke Beaston of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Casey Beaston of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; one step-sister, Chantel Heller of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, Joe and Ruth Smock of Ponca City, Oklahoma; paternal grandmother, Janet Beaston of Claremore, Oklahoma; two uncles, Donald Smock and Fiancee Kristin Macey of Edmond, Oklahoma and Chuck Beaston of Claremore, Oklahoma; his life long best friend, Connor Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charlie Beaston.Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home with A Celebration of Life service at 3:00 pm on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Ed Mosier, Minister officiating. A reception will follow at Floral Haven’s Family Center immediately following the service.
