Lois Allene Graham's Obituary
Lois Allene Graham was surrounded by her loving family and welcomed into God’s waiting arms on September 27, 2015. Lois was born in Earlsboro, Oklahoma on November 9, 1928 to Gladys and Andrew Wilkerson. She grew up in Barnsdall, Oklahoma and graduated from Barnsdall High School, where she met her high school sweetheart Lee Graham. They were married on August 12, 1946 and celebrated their 69th anniversary this year.After raising three daughters, she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Tulsa and worked as a special education teacher at Dunbar and Sequoyah elementary schools in Tulsa. She was a loving grandmother and an active member at The Church at Battle Creek. She was quick to volunteer and touched many lives throughout the community.She is survived and dearly missed by her family: husband, Lee Graham of Broken Arrow; three daughters, Janis of Tulsa, Dana and husband Larry of St. Charles, MO, and Lori and husband, Mik, of St. Joseph, MO; grandchildren, Jody and wife Dana, Brandy and husband John, Shawnda, Mindy and husband Wes, Scott and wife Jessica, Kami and husband Jim, Christi and husband William, Joshua and wife Jacqueline, Trey and wife Miranda, Grace and husband Brandon, and Timothy; great-grandchildren, Avery, Blaine, Mason, Reid, Reese, Lexi, Conner, and Kensley; sister, Carole Harden; and many other loving family members and friends.Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 1st from 12 (noon) to 8 p.m., and visitation with family from 6 to 8 p.m. at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow. The funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2nd, also at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow. Memorial donations may be made to The Church at Battle Creek in Broken Arrow.
