Long Tang's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Long Tang, who departed this life on September 24, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Vietnam, the beloved son of Minh Tang and Ly Tran.
Long was known for his radiant smile that could light up any room and a laugh that was as loud and genuine as his heart was big. Stubborn to his core and fiercely loyal, he lived life on his own terms — it was his way or no way — but those who knew him understood that behind his strong will was an even stronger love.
He was the kind of man who never hesitated to help, no matter the circumstances. Whether you returned the favor or not, it didn’t matter to Long — he gave without expectation and loved without condition. He cared deeply, often too much, and he tried his hardest to be there for everyone he loved. His family was everything to him, and he showed it not only through words, but more importantly, through actions.
Hardheaded and full of heart, Long left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His laughter, love, and loyalty will live on in the many lives he touched.
Long is survived by his spouse Teresa Porter, father Minh Tang, mother Ly Tran, brother Hoang Tang, son Jayden Tang, step-son William Porter, step-daughter Evelynn, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.
