Lonnie is "one of a kind" special. He and Pat have been part of our lives since the 80's through Gracemont Baptist Church. Good old days with good old friends. Feeling a burden for the lost, Lonnie was always preaching the gospel straight forward. I guess I'd say he was sold out for Christ. He had a big spiritual impact on Vic and me in those days. Through all the medical issues they both experienced, they displayed such courage and were an inspiration for everyone around them. It is good to know that when Lonnie took the last breath he went straight up to Glory! Hallelujah!

Well, I think my old friend Lonnie is reminiscing with many folks
in heaven today that he had the honor to lead to Jesus. So many
owe their salvation to his witness. Those of us he led in PIM will
also see them one day and those that were saved through the
ministry we carried on. Myself and several others joined Lonnie in
1992 and 25 years later was still going. I always appreciated
his faithfulness and bold witness wherever he went. His sense of
humor was always fun to be around. Thank God he had a strong
woman; his wife Pat by his side that supported him all the way.
