Thelma “Lorene” Nelson, 89, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on May 24, 2021 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born on May 31, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William and Lou Cox.
Lorene was preceded in death by: her parents, William and Lou Cox; her husband Donald Nelson; Son Michael Cox; and niece Maggie Turner. Lorene is survived by: her daughter Linda and her husband Ken Brashear; grandkids Aaron Brashear, Angela Wiebener, David Nelson, Jimmy Nelson; great grandkids Melinda Brashear, Felicia Brashear, Ashley Brashear, Cameron Brashear, Ryan Turner, and Kameryn Nelson; great great grandkids Dominic Brashear, and Brantley Brashear; along with a host of family and friends that will forever miss them.
A celebration of life for Lorene will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at 10 AM at Floral Haven Funeral Home’s main chapel.
