Lorene Pitts' Obituary
Lorene Pitts, 86, formerly of Tulsa, died on January 30, 2014 at Cleveland, Texas. She was born in Stillwell, Oklahoma on January 28, 1928, the daughter of Lee and Dora Ford. On January 12, 1983, she married Bill Pitts, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lorene had worked as a seamstress and tailor. She loved to sew, do needle point, and crochet. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Lorene is survived by her daughter, Sue Rains, and her husband, Larry, of Conroe, Texas, son, Bill Collins, and his wife, Thelma, of Catoosa, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, Brandon Rains, and his wife, Jessica, Corpus Christie, Texas, Katie Rains, Tomball, Texas, Mary Muns, and her husband, James, Claremore, Oklahoma, Brian Collins, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. and Randy Collins, and his wife, Stacy, of Verdigris, Oklahoma, great-grandchildren, Taylor Rains, Hailey Rains, Blake Muns, Austin Muns, Jayden Muns, Dylan Collins, Whitlee Collins, Alyssa Stites, Savannah, and Riley Collins, brother, Merle Ford, of Owasso, Oklahoma, and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson, Charles. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors.
