Arsie Burkhart
Ashton, and Stacy and family,
My heartfelt sympathy to you all with this terrible news of Lori's passing.
Lori and I met at a grief class seven years ago and became friends. We went out to lunch then and have been getting together every month or two since.
She loved to try new places, and we hit many of them in Tulsa. She may say
"Let's go to Roka", or "Can you meet at Queenies for early dinner?" We would then discuss our happenings since our last visit. She was naturally good -natured, kind, thoughtful. beautiful, and unpretentious. An absolute joy to know.
I wasn't concerned at first when she didn't answer my last text, as I thought she may have gone to Texas as she did sometimes around the holidays.
But then it seemed too long and unlike her. I thought I would try to call Stacy to see if she was there. I then realized I didn't know her married name,so thought I'd look on Dillon's obituary for family names. I was shocked and devastated to see Lori's pop up! I didn't know of any other friends to ask.
I have been thinking of nothing else since.
I know you all are heartbroken. Ashton, she thought the world of you and was looking forward to spending more time with you.
I also am shocked, devastated, and completely in. the dark.
Can someone please talk to me and tell me what happened?
