Lori Smith's Obituary
Lori Smith, age 56, passed away on January 25, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on July 11, 1969, in Tulsa to Kenneth and Elizabeth Burks.
Lori spent her life caring deeply for those around her, often putting the needs and happiness of others before her own. She married the love of her life, Steve Smith, on September 13, 1996, and together they built a life rooted in love, companionship, and shared moments both big and small.
Known for her sweet and thoughtful nature, Lori had a gift for making people feel seen and cared for. She adored spending time with her children and grandchildren. All she ever dreamed of being was a Mother. She was a devoted dog mom who loved her furry companions, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of life—doing her own nails, baking for the people she loved, and spending quiet time cross-stitching. She loved playing games on her phone, sharing gossip with those close to her, and staying connected in her own special way.
Lori’s heart was generous and selfless. She rarely planned for herself, choosing instead to focus on others, always thinking ahead to make life easier or brighter for the people she loved. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
She is preceded in death by her son Claborn Kenneth Smith, son Griffin Lee Smith, and parents.
She is survived by her husband Steve Smith, daughter Shea Peugh and husband Devin, daughter Grace Smith, daughter Jordan Martin, brother Steven Burks, grandchildren Dawson Martin, Emily Reiss, Brody Shafer, Braylynn Shafer, Kahler Peugh, god-daughters Liliana, Amara, Kiaya, along with numerous friends and loved ones.
Celebration of life will be held Friday, February 6th, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
