I will greatly miss Mrs. McBride. She was my favorite client. She would always stop in our office at least once a week just to say hello in between her hair appt or dr. appts or just if she was out and about. We looked forward to seeing her and talking with her. She was the most caring, selfless person I have ever met. I loved listening to her stories from when she was growing up or working in the airline industry or beauty industry. She was a book of knowledge and I will greatly miss her and her hugs.

I will greatly miss those phone calls with Lorice. She was always looking to help someone else with their problems. She was one of the most sincere and unselfish people I have had the pleasure to know.

I never met Sister Lorice in person but just to talk to her on the phone was a pleasure just to talk to her. She was a very Godly Person or that was the way I had picture her. She is resting in a wonderful place now not having to worry about her heart or having another stroke. She may have met my wife up their by now which I lost my wife back in March of this year because we had always talk about getting to meet each other her if not In heaven. It was wonderful to know you.

Lorice... Thanks for all the care and encouragement you have given to so many people over the years. This includes my mom and dad. What a pleasure it is to serve you now.

Lorice, you will be missed for you were such an inspiration to me and always so kind and thoughtful and prayerful. We were each others prayer warriors ! So we will both continue just in different places! I Love you. Your Healthy Chocolate friend and business partner! Jeanie Spears
I met Lorice in the early 80’s at Iliff Aircraft. My brother, Mike worked there as a sheet metal mechanic. Being a singer-songwriter Lorice asked me to perform for several of her Women’s Business gatherings. She continued to support and encourage my music endeavors until her passing. She was kind, generous and loved our Lord. She became like a second Mom to me. She’s with Jesus now and that brings me joy in the midst of my sorrow. I loved her SO much and she was a fantastic lady. RIP, sweet Lorice. 🙏
