Lou Anna Delashaw, 83, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025. She was born on January 4, 1942, in Abilene, Texas, to Alton and Bessie (Bates) Dixon.
Lou Ann dedicated 26 years of her life to serving others as a registered nurse. Her compassion, skill, and commitment to her patients left a lasting impact on many families and colleagues throughout her career.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry, and her beloved son, Mark and Julie Delashaw of North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a proud grandmother to Noah Delashaw and his wife Rachel of Alexander, Arkansas; Jacob Delashaw of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Joshua and Jennifer Long of Jenks, Oklahoma; and Jessica Long of Wagoner, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Bessie Dixon; her daughter, Karen Delashaw; and her siblings, Nova Jean Dixon and Jerry Dixon.
Lou Ann will be remembered for her strength, her love for her family, and her decades of dedication as a nurse. Her legacy of care and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
