Louella Duke Bridges' Obituary
Louella Duke Bridges, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend; born Monday, March 20, 1922 in Checotah, Oklahoma to her loving parents, William D. & Ollie Duke; went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 19, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. A native to Oklahoma Louella worked a number of years for Jenks Public Schools before her retirement. After her retirement she relocated to Wyoming to be closer to family. Louella enjoyed numerous things in her free time including listening to country music, gardening and traveling. What Louella truly was passionate about was her family that she loved so dearly. Found memories will always be cherished of Louella and the family gatherings, the family trips especially the family fishing trips and her love of celebrating holidays and how every family member knew they had to attend. She will be deeply missed as her memory will always be cherished by those who had their lives touched by her. Louella is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard C. Bridges; her dear great grandson, Tripp Pingleton; her loving parents, William D. & Ollie Duke; her dearly loved sisters, Gladys Carter and Thelma McCombs and her dearly loved brothers. Louella is survived by her loving children, Jennifer Kaufman and Michael D. Bridges & wife Terri; her four dearly loved grandchildren, Kerri Emmons & husband Jonathan, Melissa Hyronemus & husband Jason, Brandi Bell & husband Brett and Brooke Pingleton & husband Kevin; her five precious great grandchildren, Brody Shouse, Gunner Pingleton, Coy Pingleton, Sydni Emmons and Wendy Shouse; her one beloved great-great granddaughter, Chloe Layne Tichenor and numerous other loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Floral Haven Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.
