Louella Patton's Obituary
Louella Patton, 74, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died on May 21, 2014. She was born in Levelland, Texas, on October 28, 1939, the second of four children, to Monty and Overa (Reeves) Patton. She graduated from Oklaunion High School before getting married and dedicating her life to raising and caring for her family, which started with her marriage to Odis Ray Lowery, on September 26, 1958, in Oklaunion, TX. Through the years she lived in Vernon, Texas, Oklahoma City, OK, Tulsa, OK, and Broken Arrow, OK. Louella loved life and had a never ending smile. She loved playing bingo, and eating ice cream. Over the years she enjoyed playing tennis, and continued to watch it when she was unable to play in her latter years. She was known for her sense of style and especially loved her “bling”! She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Hawthorne, and her husband, Roger, of Oklahoma City, OK, Melissa K. Ivy, of Tulsa, OK, and Teresa A. Jones, of Tulsa, OK, granddaughters, Alicia F. Rankin of Oklahoma City, OK; Chandra L. Stenhouse, Kacey L. Jones, Chelsea R. Jones, Raven D. Cade, all of Tulsa, OK, great-granddaughters, Evalynn Davis, and Remington Jones, sister, Helen Dawn Schumann, of Wichita Falls, TX, brother, Dan Patton, of Vernon, Texas, and sister, Sally Stevens, of Oklahoma City, OK.
