Louie Mosteller's Obituary
Louie Mosteller, aged 80, passed away on April 24, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on September 7, 1943 in Haskell, Oklahoma to George and Polly Mosteller. Louie was united in marriage to Carol Davis on January 21, 1966, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Throughout his life, Louie had a passion for watching documentaries and delving into history, constantly learning and teaching what he learned to others. He spent much of his time engaged in home projects, tinkering in his shop and garage, and showcasing his skills as a welder, which was his profession until retirement. Louie was known for his sense of humor and considered quite ornery. He enjoyed telling jokes to kids and grandkids and had a soft spot for taking care of his dogs and cats. He built many things for his cats, including a 'cat house', complete with stained glass windows.
Louie is survived by his wife Carol Mosteller, granddaughter Katherine Mosteller, granddaughter Julie Howard, and great-grandson Cash Howard, along with many friends and loved ones.
Louie is preceded in death by his parents, his son James Ray Mosteller, sister Corine Crumm, and brother Terrell Mosteller.
Louie Mosteller will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
