On Monday, September 10th, 2018, Louis Cherry, husband, father, son and brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 98 years.Louis was predeceased by his beloved wife Lorene, parents Whit and Maggie, sister Thelma, brother Ray, and daughter Donna. Lovingly remembered by his children, Ron and Dan, his six grandchildren, Sean, Mike, Jennifer, David, Karen and Lori, by his great-grandchildren, Lauren, Megan, Sydney, Amber, Ashley, Lexi, Dylan, Louis, Annie and Olivia and by his great-great-grandchild Jude.Louis is a veteran of World War II where he served three years in the Army Air Corp before serving three more years in the United States Air Force Reserves, retiring his service in 1948.Visitation will be held from 4:00pm – 7:00pm on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral home. Services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
