I am so sorry to hear of Louis' passing. Louis was a large part of my family during the early 1970s while he was attending college at Northeastern A&M College in Miami, OK. He rented a room from my mother, and was involved in all our family activities for several years. A part of our family. My son, who is now 43-years old, called him "Pa Louis." He taught my son how to walk. So very sorry for your loss.
So sorry about your loss. Joey, we don't know each other very well but I guess that is what happens when we grow up and aren't around each other very much. Louis was my oldest cousin and always will be a special person in my life. He is the one that gave me my name when I was born. My mother always told me that he came to see me after I was born and gave her a blanket and told my mom her name is Janie Darlene. And he was the only one left that called me by my nickname. I thought of him several times these last few days and now I know why. The Lord was preparing me for the loss of a very special person. Loved him very much.
Oh Louis, You have been a wonderful friend to so many of us. Visiting with you was always such a bright spot in my day. You always had the most wonderful facial expressions that said so much. It was so easy to see how much you loved and cared for your family (especially those grandbabies) and your friends and the Lord. We will miss you every day but feel blessed that we were part of your life. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family.Linda Godfrey
