Louis Lawrence, the number one “Fun Hog” is gone. Louis was born December 20, 1950 and died in his sleep March 21, 2006. Louis graduated from Henryetta High School in 1969 and attended Northeastern State University.He enjoyed all sports and wasn’t opposed to placing an occasional wager on a horse race or ball game. Louis will be greatly missed by his family and many “Fun Hog” friends.Contributions in memory of Louis may be made to the Jeff Lawrence Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides college tuition for a student athlete graduating from Henryetta High School, c/o American Exchange Bank of Henryetta.Survived By: his mother Anna Jeane Lawrence of Henryetta, 2 sisters, Linda Davenport & husband Red of The Colony, Texas, Susan Dodge & husband Morris of Henryetta. A brother George Lawrence II & wife Lisa of Broken Arrow.His nieces, Julie Svoboda, DeAnna Gerde, & Jennifer Dodge.His nephews, Michael Dill, Chris Dill, Justin Swearengin, & Ryan Louis Lawrence, His best friend and long-time companion, Cheryl Mall, her children, and five grandchildren to whom he was “Grandpa Louie”, As well as a host of friends and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his two favorite golfers: his son, Jeffrey Brian Lawrence on September 21, 2002, and by his father, George “Hook” Lawrence.
